Dr. Victor Davidovici is one of the most worldwide renowned experts in earthquake resistant constructions. He spent 34 years with SOCOTEC, France, as chief engineer, head of earthquake engineering and coordinator for nuclear activities. Dr. Davidovici is regularly consulted by Governments in case of earthquakes to bring his expertise, analysis and remedies.
He brings to the COFFOR team his international knowledge and experience, in particular in the development of COFFOR as an effective technology for seismic resistant constructions. He also leads the COFFOR research program in liaison with various International Institutes and Universities.

As Chief of Protocol and External Affairs of the International Telecommunication Union, Venen organized two United Nations World Summit on the Information Society in 2003 and 2005. He is keen in encouraging Governments, the private sector and the civil society to join hands to build social houses on a large scale and thus meet one of the UN Millennium Development Goals in reducing poverty worldwide. |
