Pierre Messiqua

President

After a career in multinational companies in Europe and the USA, Pierre Messiqua purchased in 2000 a patent on concrete construction. The COFFOR group was born.

​​

From a start-up with a single patent, the group has developed the COFFOR technology, set up a solid industrial base in Romania and Madagascar, distribution, construction and R & D activities.

​​

Civil works and Roller Compacted Concrete activities (RCC) have recently expanded Coffor's core business.

Catalin Grigore

Director of Development

Engineer from the School of Mines of Petrosani, Romania

​

Before joining the COFFOR Group, Catalin Grigore worked for 24 years at the LAFARGE Group (now LAFARGEHOLCIM) since graduating as an engineer.

 

​From 1991 to 2016, he was involved in operational activities in France and Great Britain in the ready-mixed concrete sector and aggregate exploitation.

​

​From 2006 to 2013, he was responsible for Performance, Quality, and Optimization within the Ready-Mixed Concrete Division (Global Headquarters of the Lafarge Group in Paris), where he was particularly tasked with implementing best practices for concrete formulation and global quality for sophisticated projects such as dams, bridges, roads, buildings, etc., in various countries: Egypt, India, Romania, France, Morocco, Algeria, Russia, Vietnam, Iraq, etc.

​

His many years of work within the Lafarge group allowed him to become an expert in areas related to construction systems and associated materials. 

 

Catalin developed a specific method for the application of Roller-Compacted Concrete, and Coffor is currently constructing roads, platforms, etc., in Africa and Madagascar.

Eric Touzet

Director Brazil

Graduate from the Aformasol School of Fine Arts Paris, France

​

After obtaining his interior design degree from the Ministry of Living Environment, Eric Touzet worked in the United States for 25 years. Through his education, he was at the time an innovator in the field of sustainable construction. He has many projects to his credit, including the first private LEED (HQE) certified clinic in Medford, Oregon. 

​

During these years he worked in close collaboration with the COFFOR Group, notably with various achievements in Cameroon, Panama and Brazil.

​

Since the beginning of 2013, Eric has been the director of Coffor in Brazil, where he notably manages construction of12-storey apartment buildings with Coffor.

Mohab Kamel 

Director of MENA region

Graduate from the London School of Economics, UK

​

After Starting his career in international corporate consulting and oil finance, Mohab Kamel joined the oil trading industry in 2000. He has traded physical and paper oil products for the likes of Sempra Energy and Mercuria on a global scale and more specifically in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has also consulted for several entrepreneurial ventures and asset purchases.

 

Through his trading, consulting business experience in the Middle East and Africa, he brings a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a highly adaptable set of skills, as well as a deep understanding of international trade and finance.

Redwan Merouani

Coffor Representative in Ukraine

Graduate from the University of Paris, France

​

Redwan has worked in Capital markets for 35 years for several French Banks (UBAF, Société Générale and Credit Agricole Indosuez).

​

He is specialist in trading Emerging Markets Bonds, he co-founded and managed a hedge fund (MARS Capital Group) for 5 years.

He lives in Ukraine since 2004 and has worked for local financial brokers (Astrum, Dragon Capital). He has developed extensive contacts in the Financial and Industrial sphere in Ukraine.

Victor Davidovici

Scientific Director

Graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique of Bucharest, Roumania

​

Victor Davidovici is one of the world's foremost experts in earthquake-resistant constructions. He worked 34 years at SOCOTEC, ending his career as Chief Engineer in Earthquake Engineering and coordinator of nuclear activities. 

 

He brings to the COFFOR team his knowledge and experience, in particular for the development of COFFOR as a formwork reinforcement. and Constructive system for earthquake-resistant constructions.

Dorin Siminciuc

Production Manager

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Management from the University of Bucharest, Roumania

​

After a 3-year experience as a topographer technician, Dorin joined the Proinvest Group in Pascani, Romania.

 

His first assignments were production supervisor and quality control supervisor. He then was in charge of control of industrial production process and implementation of new products.

 

Since 2014, Dorin has been the Production Manager of Coffor.

Romain Fontaine

Director of Swimming Pools Division

Graduate from the Toulouse Civil Engineering University and MBA from IFAG, France

After an experience in Public Works, Romain Fontaine continued his career in trading (distribution of materials) for several years before joining COFFOR in 2002.

​​

Romain Fontaine has created the MARINAL trademark and developed the specific Coffor swimming pool in several countries besides FRANCE.

Zuhair Shammout

Business Development Middle East

Graduate from the Suffolk University, USA

​

A Business Development expert, with a dynamic experience, in Logistics, airport construction as well as social housing development & sales. With domain knowledge in diverse sectors including government, NGO’s, tourism, construction, as well as real estate development. Proven track record of leading through ambiguity with an outstanding ability to manage rapid change, mitigate risks & infuse new ideas. 

​

He serves on multiple boards in Jordan & abroad, in the construction & development, education, hospitality. In his experience with Coffor Zuhair developed effective marketing strategies, managed multiple sales campaigns, strategic business capture/ planning as well as led multiple governmental, NGO & commercial projects.  Zuhair is in charge of Coffor Marketing & Sales in the Middle East.

Maurizio Ambrosini

Chief Architect

Graduate from the Faculty of Innsbruck, Austria

​

Maurizio studied at the architecture faculty of Innsbruck (Austria) and Florence where he graduated. He has been enrolled in the Italian Order of Architects since 1985.Maurizio worked in London for the architectural firms "Darbourne & Darke" and "Douglas Paskin Associates".

 

Back to Italy in 1986, he developed the activity of his father's architecture studio dealing with high-quality interior design projects, hotels, commercial/residential private/public buildings, shops, and furniture design.

 

Customers include high-profile local and international companies such as Bugatti, System B-Olivetti, the Municipality of Bolzano, INTERCANTIERI, to name a few.

 

Since 2016, he has extended his architectural activity with Coffor in Italy, France, Saudi Arabia and the Dominican Republic.

Adama Djibrilla Hamidou

Director of Coffor operations in Chad

Graduate from the National School of Public Works of Yaoundé, Cameroon

​

Djibrilla has diverse experience in construction and civil engineering. He was site supervisor on several projects in Cameroon, such as the construction of an office building for the World Bank in Yaoundé-Bastos or the rehabilitation of the Yaoundé-Ebolowa road.

​

He has been site supervisor for Maisons sans Frontières in Congo Brazzaville for the construction of 3,000 social housing units.

​

Djibrilla has worked for the Coffor Group since 2013.

​

As of January 2020, Djibrilla is Director of Operations in Chad for road construction works in Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) and various civil engineering works. 

David Auguste

Distribution in French Guiana

​

With training as a building technician, David worked in a real estate agency doing land prospecting. He then created his own company, KHEOPS BAT, which constructs buildings and does renovations.
